Analytical Instrumentation Sales

Location:  San Francisco

I am recruiting for the industry leading manufacturer of sample prep instrumentation (microwave digestion - ashing - drying systems for AA, ICP), extraction, chemical synthesis,  peptide synthesis and fat, moisture and protein analysis instrumentation which is sold into a broad range of industrial and academic labs.  They are looking for a bright chemist who doesn't see themselves boxed in a lab and would like the opportunity to transition from the inside to a field based technical sales role.   A great opportunity to use your technical background helping other researchers find solutions to their problems. This position has responsibility for managing their analytical and process product portfolio in No. CA and No. NV.

Analytical Sales Rep

Location:  Texas

We are actively recruiting for a Technical Sales Rep for a client of ours that is a  leading producer of separations products - chroma columns, SPE, sample prep for laboratory, analytical, scientific, research and development, pilot scale production, and manufacturing applications. We are seeking a highly motivated  Sales Rep who can continue to grow the company's business. The successful candidate will be someone who can open doors, solve problems and develop trust and an ongoing business relationship with existing customers and new prospects. Works to understand customers business, purchasing departments, products purchased, key decision makers and influencers. Identifies new opportunities to expand business with prospects and existing customers Achieve and exceed monthly and annual quota. Create and maintain pipeline of new business opportunities.  Travel will be 50-60% and covers the South Central Region
Compensation:  Expected first year in the 105-120k range, full benefits, co. car, expenses, etc..

Microscopy Sales Rep

Location:  Boston and Upstate NY

Direct sales of a broad line of microscopy and imaging equipment to life science research accounts...largely academic.   Must have a technical background in the life sciences with hands-on experience in light microscopy, confocal, or live cell imaging.   These are all local territories with minimal travel.  Previous sales experience is not necessary, rather the desire to transition into technical sales.  First year compensation in the 100k+ range.

Field Service Engineer 

Location:  Houston

The FSE will be responsible for routine maintenance, repair, installations and service of rheology and thermal analysis instrumentation throughout the South Central region  (TX, OK, LA), and as is with most service roles will support adjacent areas.   Must have Prior FSE experience with scientific instrumentation.  Travel is expected to be 50%.

Compensation:  Base 75-85k plus 15% bonus.

Sales Operations Manager

Location:  Charlotte, NC

My client is the industry leading manufacturer of sample prep instrumentation (microwave digestion - ashing - drying systems for AA, ICP), extraction, chemical synthesis,  peptide synthesis and fat, moisture and protein analysis instrumentation which is sold into a broad range of industrial and academic labs. 

The Sales Operations Manager would essentially be the right hand person to the VP of Sales, taking oversight for inside sales, sales support/marketing, and business processes of the sales organization.  (there are 6 direct reports)  We are looking for someone who comes from a technical background in the life sciences....ideally chemistry and has shown some leadership skills and the desire to advance within a company into sales and marketing management.

Western RSM - Laboratory Automation Sales 

Location:  California  (Bay area preferred, San Diego secondarily)

This is an opportunity in the automated sample storage solutions area for the biotech and pharma. area.  This includes full scale buildings to large walk in lab units to bench top units.

The Regional Sales Manager - Western Region would be responsible for business development activities for the company's portfolio in this arena. They are a leading manufacturer of laboratory robotics - liquid handling - automation.  We are looking for a talented capital equipment rep capable of negotiating a complex sales process.

Regional Sales Manager - Pharma Accounts

Location:  Texas or St. Louis

This is a new position in the lab equipment space in the Midwest.  This has responsibility for TX up through MO.  Products include freeze drying (Lyophilization), evaporation, sample concentration, washers, etc.  Very well established manufacturer with recognizable name brand products that sells on a direct basis.  Qualified candidates should have related life science industry sales experience with solid knowledge of pharm a accounts in the region.

Compensation:  Base 80-90k and 150k total at plan uncapped.

Field Service Engineer

Location:   San Francisco

'm recruiting for a Field Service Engineer with one of the world's leading microscopy manufacturers. (light microscopes, confocal, SEM, FIB's, etc.) We are looking for an experienced FSE.....someone with a background or experience with complex automated electromechanical systems. Some of the other skill sets we're looking for are: Advanced understanding and ability to troubleshoot problems in software, electronics, optics and electron optics, high voltage, high vacuum, mechanical, and electro mechanical systems. Experienced with Windows operating environments and word processing and or email applications as well as with databases or CRM Systems. Ability to read and understand electrical or mechanical engineering documentation and schematics. Solid communication skills, able to converse readily in English, both verbally and in writing.

HPLC Columns and Process Media Sales

Location:  Boston

This is a great opportunity in the Boston area due to continued growth and expansion.  We're recruiting on a new position for a company that sells into the pharma and biotech space......primarily  HPLC columns and resins. While sales experience would be great, we would also like to consider someone who has a strong desire to transition from the lab or technical support into technical sales.  A background in chromatography is a must, and preferably experience in process.

Area Sales Manager
Location:  Philadelphia
We are actively recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for a client of ours that is a leading sample preparation device and material science manufacturer. (prior sales experience is not necessary...rather the desire to transition from the lab into a support or sales role) They set standards in high-tech equipment for quality control, research and development of solid matter. The fields of activity cover sample preparation of solids as well as analyzing technologies. 

 

Their well-known  brands have served research institutions, analytical laboratories as well as manufacturing companies in quality control and process applications for many decades with ever more sophisticated and reliable products which offer the solution to their individual task.

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for product sales of laboratory sample prep devices on a regional basis.  Working from the office in the Langhorne, PA area, they will travel to accounts approximately once per month, as well as attend various regional trade shows, assist with testing customer samples and providing technical support.  This position provides great exposure to all aspects of their business - applications/support, sales, and marketing. Travel is expected to be 25%.  

Compensation:  Base of 55k plus 25k incentive.

Regional Sales Representative
Location: Cincinnati
Our client is the world leader in the development, manufacture & sale of laboratory instrumentation which includes HPLC, GC, MS, UV, AA, Particle Tech, etc.   This position is open due to continued growth  and has responsibility for direct sales in the So. OH area.  Qualified candidates must have prior capital equipment sales experience within the laboratory space.
 

Regional Service Manager
Location: San Francisco

A world class organization in the microscopy area (light microscopes, confocal, wide field, scanning electron, x-ray)  This position has responsibility for 15 FSE's throughout No. CA, OR, WA, ID, MT.  Specific technology experience is not critical.  The ability to lead and develop a team is.  The RSM must be adept at personnel development, have a head for business.......they are a conduit to the company regarding key opinion leaders in their markets  (academic research, pharma. biotech, semiconductor, nanotechnology)  Strong communication and organization skills across multiple groups is a must. Compensation is a base salary that ranges from 120-145k plus 15% bonus, company car, great benefits.

Sales Representative - Laboratory Equipment
Location: Boston

They are a leading manufacturer of laboratory equipment (rotary evaporators, stirrers, mixers, shakers, autoclaves) for the industrial and academic markets.....selling direct and through distribution.  Excellent reputation in the industry for quality of product and support.....a dynamic sales team with growth opportunity.   This position has responsibility for managing those relationships in the New England area. Travel isn't expected to be more than 20%.  First year compensation is 120k or higher at plan,but uncapped with car, bonus and all the usual benefits, etc.
